FSB officers detained a resident of the Trans-Baikal Territory on suspicion of treason. This was reported by the press service of the department, transmits “RIA News”.
According to the FSB, the woman was collecting information about the movements of Russian military personnel who were supposed to go to the special operation zone, and passed it on to the Ukrainian special services.
A criminal case was opened against her for treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and she was arrested. The maximum penalty under this article is life imprisonment.
On October 10, under a similar article, there was arrested a resident of the Primorsky Territory who collected information about military installations on Russian territory and passed it on to Ukrainian intelligence.
