Nikolai Drozdov’s television and radio company ACC-TV, which filmed “In the Animal World” and “The Obvious is the Incredible,” owed the tax service a large sum. The Federal Tax Service filed a lawsuit with the Moscow Arbitration Court, demanding to recover 870 thousand rubles from the TV presenter. This was reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
Drozdov, 86, is a co-owner of the company. Officially, the organization is still operating, but it has not paid taxes for several years. Now they are demanding 700 thousand rubles in debt from ACC-TV, the rest of the amount is taxes and penalties.
The former general director of the organization, Irina Lapina, said that ACC-TV has not produced programs since 2018, including “In the Animal World.” Despite this, in 2019 the company’s revenue amounted to about one million rubles. Income was generated through repeat episodes of the program. However, the tax service did not receive reports on monetary transactions. At the same time, ACC-TV was not liquidated. The accounts are now blocked.
