The court in St. Petersburg arrested the accused of bank robbery
The Vyborg court of St. Petersburg decided to place Vadim Stepanovich in custody until December 12, who is accused of robbing a Sberbank branch in the village of Pargolovo, reports the united press service of the St. Petersburg courts in its Telegram channel.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 3 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed with illegal entry into a home, premises or other storage facility or with theft on a large scale). Under this article he faces up to 12 years in prison.
The incident itself occurred on October 13. Then a man with an object that looked like a gun demanded that the manager seize the money from the cash register. Thus, he was able to steal about 500,000 rubles, $10 and 880 euros in cash, after which he disappeared.
“Sberbank“later estimated the amount of damage at 590,221 rubles, that is, on a large scale. Stepanovich was detained on the same day, and the next day he was charged.
