The court did not consider the bankruptcy petition of the former owner of PSB Ananyev
The Moscow Arbitration Court left without consideration the application of YurKonsaltGroup LLC demanding that Alexey Ananyev, one of the former co-owners and ex-chairman of the board of directors of Promsvyazbank, be declared bankrupt. writes “RIA News”.
According to information in the file of arbitration cases, an application to declare Ananyev bankrupt was received by the arbitration court on October 24, 2022. The basis for this was the debt that arose under an agreement on the provision of legal assistance with the bar association “Kovalev, Tugushi and Partners” to represent Ananyev’s interests in one of arbitration processes. Later, the bar association ceded the rights of claim to YurKonsaltGroup.
Earlier, in January 2021, the court declared Ananyev’s younger brother Dmitry, who had been the chairman of the board of Promsvyazbank since 2016, bankrupt. It is clarified that in his case the procedure for the sale of property continues.
The Ananyev brothers controlled Promsvyazbank until the end of 2017, when the Central Bank decided to reorganize the bank. In 2018, the bank was transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency and appointed the main bank for state defense orders and large government contracts.
In 2018 Promsvyazbank filed a claim in the Arbitration Court against the former owners of the bank – brothers Dmitry and Alexey Ananyev, as well as against Promsvyaz Capital BV, through which they controlled the bank, and 10 former top managers of the bank for 282.2 billion rubles.
Based on this claim, the Moscow Arbitration Court decided at the end of May 2019. arrested movable and immovable property of the Ananyevs, including over 50 real estate properties, two Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft, cars, the building and collection of the museum of the Institute of Russian Realistic Art. Later, the amount of Promsvyazbank’s claims was reduced to 243.2 billion rubles. In September 2019 SK presented the brothers are accused of embezzlement of more than 66 billion rubles. and $575 million. On June 29, 2022, the court decided to recover 91.2 billion and 89.7 billion rubles in favor of Promsvyazbank. from Alexey and Dmitry Ananyev, respectively, as well as 23.1 billion rubles. – with Promsvyaz Capital BV
