More than 15% of defects were found in the signature lists of presidential candidate Boris Nadezhdin. The Central Election Commission came to this conclusion after checking the documents, RBC reports.
“To be included in the ballot, no more than 5% of defects out of 60 thousand verified are required,” said Nadezhdin’s representative Igor Artemyev.
It is known that Nadezhdin provided a total of 105 thousand signatures to the CEC. He managed to collect 200 thousand documents on Russian territory. At the same time, in order to register for elections, it is necessary to submit at least 100 thousand signatures, of which no more than 2.5 thousand should fall on one subject.
