Telegraph: Britain has postponed sending another aircraft carrier to NATO exercises

According to The Telegraph, British authorities have decided not to send another aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales, to participate in NATO’s largest exercise, Steadfast Defender 2024.

The authors of the material drew attention to the fact that London refused to publish the reasons why the country’s authorities made the corresponding decision.

“The voyage of HMS Prince of Wales was canceled for unknown reasons,” the publication said.

Let us remind you that the exercises HMS Prince of Wales are carried out from January 22 to May 31, 2024. At the same time, from February 1 to March 15, headquarters should begin practicing the deployment of forces on the territory of continental Europe. During this time, military personnel of NATO member states will have to demonstrate the ability to parachute in any terrain and situation.
