Switzerland counts on China’s participation in the organization and holding peace negotiations after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the country’s Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, Reuters reports.
According to him, organizing the negotiation process between Moscow and Kiev is an extremely complex procedure, so it will take a sufficient amount of time.
“This is a very high-level conference, we cannot expect an immediate response,” the diplomat noted when asked by journalists about Beijing’s agreement to take part in the global peace summit on Ukraine.
The need for Russia’s presence in these negotiations is noted, since peace cannot take place without it.
Previously, Russia unfrozen North Korean assets blocked in Russian banks in exchange for arms supplies. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
