Stoltenberg: NATO support harmed Russia’s Black Sea Fleet

Secretary General NATO Jens Stoltenberg admitted the alliance’s participation in causing damage to the Russian Black Sea Fleet. His words are quoted by Western media.

During his visit to Tbilisi, Stoltenberg pointed out that the security of the Black Sea is a pressing issue for both Georgia and NATO.

The Secretary General of the Alliance spoke as follows: “Russia’s freedom of navigation is, in principle, limited, and our support causes damage to Russia’s large fleet on Black Sea”

It is known that Ukrainian troops have repeatedly tried to attack the Black Sea Fleet, and in September 2023 they hit the headquarters in Sevastopol. The day before, Stoltenberg admitted that attacks on the Russian fleet in the Black Sea were carried out using NATO missiles.

Meanwhile, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, proposed remembering the recognition of the NATO Secretary General in the alliance’s attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

According to him, this can be used as evidence for a future tribunal against the “warmongers.” Read more about this in material Public News Service.
