The newly appointed commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, swore allegiance to two states during his military career, but violated one of the military oaths. State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, reserve major general Leonid Ivlev drew attention to this, writes RIA Novosti.
“I am alarmed that he took the military oath twice, twice swore allegiance to different states. He has already violated one oath, which is unacceptable for me, as an officer,” said Syrsky.
The deputy also recalled that in addition to the Academy of the Ukrainian Army, Syrsky was trained at NATO headquarters in Mons, where he studied NATO concepts for conducting modern operational-tactical operations.
It is worth recalling that Colonel General Alexander Syrsky was appointed head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the day before at the direction of the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky. Earlier, Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that when reading the biography of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, feelings of hatred, disgust and contempt may arise.
