Searches are being carried out at the place of residence of possible accomplices in the beatings of passers-by in St. Petersburg. About it reported in the press service of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg.
“Currently, investigators, together with employees of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are conducting a number of searches at the places of residence of persons possibly involved in the commission of this crime,” the statement said.
The Investigative Committee also reported that one of the suspects in the beating of passers-by in the south of St. Petersburg was detained; he turned out to be an 18-year-old young man. The investigation established that episodes of beating of passers-by occurred in the Moskovsky and Krasnoselsky districts of the city.
Previously, the media wrote about a group of young people from Azerbaijan who filmed beatings of passers-by in St. Petersburg, damaging property and posted it on the Internet. Now the videos from their Telegram channel have been deleted.
