Shmygal and Nuland discussed reforms in Ukraine

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that he discussed with US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland the implementation of reforms.

In his Telegram channel, Shmygal wrote that the meeting took place in Kyiv. The parties coordinated the work and discussed the implementation of reforms, in particular anti-corruption.

According to him, Nuland noted “Ukraine’s progress on these issues.”

“We coordinated our work before the multilateral donor coordination platform, which will take place in February,” Shmygal added.

American Ambassador Bridget Brink, in turn, explained that Nuland intends to meet with the country’s top leadership in the Ukrainian capital. Brink stressed that the goal is to “show a shared commitment to Ukraine’s victory.”
