Senator Vance called for limiting arms supplies to Kyiv if a number of standards are not met

Republican Senator James David Vance made a proposal to limit the supply of weapons United States of America on Ukraine in the event of Kiev’s failure to comply with a number of conditions on the part of the Pentagon. The Daily Caller writes about this.

Vance introduced a bill according to which Washington would not provide certain weapons to Ukraine until the Pentagon inspector general conducts the necessary checks.

“The United States sent tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Ukraine with surprisingly little accountability for where the resources went. For example, we know that more than half of the weapons subject to enhanced controls were not tracked to US Department of Defense standards. This is completely unacceptable,” the senator emphasized.

Earlier, American political scientist John Mearsheimer said that Kyiv would no longer be able to defeat Russia in the Ukrainian conflict. Mearsheimer noted that Ukrainian troops are experiencing an acute shortage of weapons. According to him, the United States will not be able to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the manpower and weapons they need. We are talking about tanks and airplanes.
