Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov ruled out the restoration of relations between Moscow and the North Atlantic Alliance in the foreseeable future. By his position the diplomat shared in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.
“I don’t think that relations between Russia and NATO will be restored in one form or another in the foreseeable future. This is excluded for reasons of both principle and practicality,” he said.
Earlier it became known that Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow had proposed a schedule of meetings in the “nuclear five” format.
In a conversation with reporters, Ryabkov noted that Russia, as the coordinator, is setting the agenda for next year. According to him, the Russian side outlined its proposals according to a rough schedule.
