Russian Railways: on the Trans-Baikal Railway section, 27 train cars left the tracks

On the Trans-Baikal Railway, 27 carriages of a freight train derailed, Russian Railways reports.

Luckily, there were no casualties as a result of this incident, and there are no risks of environmental threat. The emergency occurred on January 8, 2024 at 19:17 Moscow time in the section between Aleur and Bushulei stations. Due to the incident, the clearance of the adjacent track was disrupted.

To restore the operation of the railway, restoration trains from the Zilovo and Shilka stations were sent to the place where the cars came down.

Previously reportedthat 16 people were injured in a massive accident on the M-11 highway.
