Russian Foreign Ministry: Russia’s opponents failed to undermine elections abroad

Opponents Russian Federation failed to disrupt the presidential elections of the Russian Federation among Russian citizens abroad. This was stated during the briefing by Evgeny Ivanov, deputy head Ministry of Foreign Affairs Russia.

“We can say with confidence that our opponents failed to undermine the Russian presidential elections among our citizens abroad, to discourage them from exercising their constitutional right to choose the path of development of our country,” Ivanov said.

Previously, Gennady Askaldovich, Ambassador on Special Assignments of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that relocants from Russia and representatives of the non-systemic opposition inclined citizens of the United States to boycott the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
