Russian businessmen reported large-scale problems with payments in Turkey

Since the beginning of this year, Russian entrepreneurs have been faced with large-scale restrictions on making payments in Turkey. Accounts of businessmen from the Russian Federation have become blocked more often. RBC reports this, citing the director of the Russian-Turkish Business Council Alexey Egarmin.

“The cases (of blocking payments) are not isolated, they are quite extensive. There is such a problem; a large number of people who trade with Turkey, with Turkish companies, where Turkish banks participate in settlements, have encountered it,” the source told the media.

According to the head of the Russian-Turkish Dialogue Association, Arsen Ayupov, such restrictions and blocking work manually.
