Rosaviatsia asked airlines not to fly to Egypt on 27 planes

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) sent requests to Aeroflot and Rossiya airlines not to use 27 aircraft on flights to Egypt. About it writes newspaper “Izvestia”.

It is noted that the telegrams from the Federal Air Transport Agency refer to aircraft owned by the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). The publication’s interlocutors reported that these recommendations will not have an impact on transportation.

“We do not recommend flights to points in the Arab Republic of Egypt from 12:00 Moscow time on January 12 until a special decision <...>,” the documents say.

Earlier in Tomsk, an Aeroflot airline plane landing was struck twice by lightning. We are talking about a Boeing 737-800 plane that flew from Sheremetyevo to Tomsk. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was preparing to land, but due to strong winds the pilots went around. At that moment, the liner was struck twice by lightning.
