RBC: The DPR is investigating the reasons for the dumping of humanitarian aid in a landfill

In connection with the discovery of a large batch of humanitarian aid at a landfill in the city of Amvrosiyevka, Donetsk region, located ten kilometers from the Russian border, the authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic began an inspection. The RBC portal reports this.

Local news portal 161.ru also reported a case of destruction of discarded humanitarian aid, including medicines, stretchers, military uniforms and a large number of children’s letters.

According to volunteer Alexander Zakutny, a local resident contacted him, informing him that aid had been thrown into a landfill using a bulldozer, and asked him to help preserve the surviving items.

Zakutny recorded what was happening on video and provided the recordings to the publication.

Member of the Labor Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Stenyakina confirmed the authenticity of the information provided and promised to investigate this incident.
