According to Verkhovna Rada deputy from the European Solidarity party Irina Gerashchenko, the reasons for the resignation of Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny are political. According to the deputy in his Telegram channel, the current leadership of the Kyiv regime “does not forgive independence and popularity.”
“The reasons for today’s resignation are political, that’s obvious. Independence, self-sufficiency, adulthood and popularity Bankovaya (the street on which Zelensky’s office is located – ed.) does not forgive,” Gerashchenko emphasized.
She also stated that such actions during an armed conflict demonstrate the shortsightedness of the country’s leadership.
Earlier it became known that the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced on Thursday, February 8, the dismissal of Valery Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces. Alexander Syrsky was appointed in his place.
Zelensky thanked Zaluzhny for his work and added that together they discussed the changes that are urgently required in the Ukrainian army. More about this read the material Public News Service.
