The United States will have to take into account Russian interests, since it is impossible to suppress them. About it stated Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
On October 16, US President Joe Biden, in an interview with CBS, hypothetically imagined what would happen if we “united all of Europe” and “suppressed” Putin.
“I think it’s not about me personally. This is in the interests of the country. And it is impossible to suppress Russia’s interests; they will have to be taken into account,” Putin commented on the statement of the American President.
The Russian president advised not only President Biden, but also all political elites of the United States as a whole to learn to respect others – “then there will be no need to suppress anyone.” The desire for suppression, according to Putin, leads to problems.
“Of course, with their usual brilliance, they love and do it well – they smile protocolly, pat everyone on the shoulder. But respect for other people, for other countries, for other peoples lies in something else. The point is to take their interests into account,” the president emphasized.
At the same time, Putin noted that the very existence of such interest in Russia is “not bad.”
Earlier, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov statedthat although Western leaders intend to suppress Russia and Putin, they have difficulty explaining why this is necessary. The Kremlin representative emphasized that the West “has not succeeded in this field yet and will not succeed in the future either.”
