Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on his birthday. About it reported Kremlin press service.
“During a telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on his birthday,” the statement said.
Previously, the Kremlin website had published Putin’s congratulatory telegram. “I sincerely wish you, dear Emomali Sharipovich, good health, prosperity and success,” the telegram said.
Putin also drew attention to Rahmon’s high authority abroad and respect for him among the residents of Tajikistan. “Under your leadership, Tajikistan is confidently moving along the path of economic and social development, playing an important role in regional and international affairs,” Putin added.
The Russian leader expressed hope for continued further cooperation and constructive dialogue on issues of Russian-Tajik relations.
