Pushkov: Strategic role in Europe is too tough for Macron

Emmanuel Macronthe president Franceshowed an inability to cope with the strategic role in Europe with his careless statements about Ukraine. The senator stated this in his Telegram channel Alexey Pushkov.

According to him, the “Gallic rooster” Macron “rushed into battle without thinking” about the reaction of other member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO), which ultimately showed France’s inability to play a special role in Europe, since Macron was actually supported only Czech and the Baltic countries.

“As it turned out the other day, it seems that Macron was no longer planning, but was only calling for “to be prepared.” And in the most recent interview, he said that he would still send someone, but he did not say who and in what quantity,” the senator said, emphasizing that Macron’s strategic role was “too tough.”
