Protesting farmers throw eggs at police in Paris

Protesting farmers from France who broke into an agricultural exhibition threw eggs at the police. Several protesters were detained. MK.RU reports this.

At the exhibition is French President Emmanuel Macron, who held a breakfast with representatives of trade unions, then he addressed farmers.

The day before, farmers who arrived in Paris set up a camp with tents near the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in the south of Paris and spent the night there. The measures to support farmers announced by the French government were considered insufficient by the protest participants.
