Prisoner Balanda: Ukrainian Armed Forces officers are negligent in their duties

Captured Ukrainian sergeant Dmitry Balanda spoke about the irresponsible attitude of officers towards their duties and towards soldiers Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). RIA Novosti writes about this.

According to him, the officers did not give specific instructions to the fighters.

At one point, the soldiers did not have access to food for several days, Balanda complained.

“The servicemen managed to get drunk, did not become rowdy, but refused to go to positions,” he added.

Earlier, Oleg Lepyakh, a captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier, said that the Ukrainian military is instilled with fear because of the torture allegedly carried out against soldiers in captivity by Russian troops.
