Peskov: The Starlink system cannot be used in Russia in any way

The Starlink system cannot be used in Russia in any way. Accordingly, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, commented on Kyiv’s statements, according to which the Russian Armed Forces are using these satellite terminals as part of a special military operation. Interfax reports this.

In addition, Peskov told reporters that the Kremlin is not going to take part in the discussion between the Kyiv authorities and the owner of Starlink, Elon Musk. Let us remember that he also refuted the information about the direct or indirect supply of terminals to the Russian side.

“These are not certified systems with us, therefore they cannot be officially supplied here and are not officially supplied. Accordingly, it (the system) cannot be used in any way,” the Kremlin representative explained.

Previously Public News Service reported, that, according to Peskov, Ukraine in March 2022 decided not to enter into peace agreements, although it had every opportunity to do so at the lowest cost. The Kremlin claims that Kyiv wanted negotiations, but the West insisted on the continuation of hostilities by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
