The historical part of Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson will most likely be very difficult to perceive in the West, however, there are analysts and competent historians abroad who will be able to understand the truthfulness of what was said. This was announced by Kremlin official representative Dmitry Peskov in an interview with Pavel Zarubin. A fragment of the conversation was posted on the journalist’s Telegram channel.
“Yes, this historical part will probably be very difficult to perceive in the West, among Western viewers and readers. But there are a huge number of experts on our country, historians, who will also be very keenly interested for sure. Therefore, this historical part will have its own audience,” the politician commented on this topic.
The Russian president’s press secretary also added that Tucker Carlson has become a reflection of public opinion in the West. He expressed the hope that the journalist will help his compatriots finally understand the events taking place in Ukraine.
