The Kremlin plans to hold a large press conference with the President of the Russian Federation, said the head of state’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“There are such plans, we will inform you about the timing,” Peskov clarified, answering the question of whether a large press conference is being prepared this year.
At the beginning of August, Peskov reported that the president’s direct line could be combined with a large press conference, but there has not yet been an exact decision on this issue. In September, a Kremlin representative spoke about the direct line clarifiedthat “some format” can be carried out before the end of the year. Last year there was no direct line and no big press conference with the participation of the president.
Summer “Kommersant” wrotethat a direct line with the President of Russia this year may take place in November – December. A source in the presidential administration told the newspaper that the event was planned to be held in the summer, but it did not take place.
