Patrushev: Kyiv is targeting civilian targets to destabilize the situation

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that the Kiev regime, faced with failures at the front and a reduction in Western aid, is trying to destabilize the situation through terrorist attacks.

At a meeting on national security issues in Kurgan, Patrushev noted that Kyiv deliberately attacks civilian targets. As an example, he cited attacks on Belgorod, Donetsk and Lisichansk.

The Secretary of the Russian Security Council spoke as follows: “The Kiev neo-Nazi regime, against the backdrop of a lack of success on the battlefield and a reduction in assistance from its Western curators, is trying to destabilize the socio-political situation through terrorist attacks on Russian territory.”

On Saturday, February 3rd, Ukrainian troops attacked a bakery in Lysichansk, killing 28 people. Among them are a pregnant woman and a preschool child. Another 10 people were injured.

Earlier it was reported that the UN condemned Kyiv’s attack on Lisichansk. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
