“The assertion that nervous and mentally unstable people are more likely to get cancer is unfounded and not confirmed by practice,” the doctor said.

According to Ivanov, it has been proven that with some types of cancer patients can develop depression, but it usually manifests itself after diagnosis as the body’s reaction to news of the disease.

“With some types of neuroendocrine tumors, various forms of mental disorders close to menopause can also develop,” the oncologist noted.
