Nadezhdin asked to postpone the consideration of his registration for the elections

Russian presidential candidate Boris Nadezhdin sent a letter to Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), in which he asked to postpone until February 10 his consideration of registering for the presidential election. Nadezhdin spoke about this in his Telegram channel.

It is alleged that more than 15 percent of the signatures for Nadezhdin’s nomination for elections were found to be defective. The politician emphasized in his post that if the CEC decides not to register him in the elections, he will file a complaint with the Supreme Court of Russia. Nadezhdin also noted that postponing the consideration of his candidacy will allow him to analyze the claims against the defective signatures and prepare his objections.

Let us remind you that the presidential elections of the Russian Federation will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024. The current president of the country, Vladimir Putin, will take part in the vote for the third time in a row.
