Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova provided information to the Ukrainian Ombudsman on the incident with the Il-76 aircraft, on board which were Ukrainian prisoners of war.
In her Telegram channel, Moskalkova wrote that her Ukrainian colleague Dmitry Lubinets did not respond to her request. According to her, enough time has passed since the letter was sent.
Moskalkova emphasized that the answer to the question was never received. She also pointed out that the position of the Kyiv regime speaks of “criminal indifference” to the lives of defenseless people.
The incident occurred on January 24 in the Belgorod region. On board the Il-76 plane there were 65 Ukrainian prisoners who were transported for exchange. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that, according to the investigation of the Investigative Committee, the plane was shot down by an American-made Patriot air defense system.
Earlier it was reported that the US State Department refused to comment on the data on the destruction of the Il-76 using the Patriot air defense system. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
