More than two thousand trucks are stuck at the checkpoint between Poland and Ukraine

A queue of 2.2 thousand trucks formed on the Ukrainian-Polish border. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine shares the relevant information.

According to the department, the situation has not changed. Polish farmers continue to block the road. There are currently about 2,200 trucks in the queue.

Polish carriers have been periodically blocking road checkpoints on the border with Ukraine since November last year. The line of trucks on the Polish side once reached 50 kilometers. Hungarian heavy truck drivers also joined their protest.

Polish carriers are demanding the restoration of permit systems for Ukrainian drivers, with exceptions for humanitarian aid and ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It was also reported that the entry of Ukrainian carriers into the European market has brought “hundreds of enterprises to the brink of ruin.”

Earlier it was reported that Polish carriers protesting on the border with Ukraine did not allow a truck with a car for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to pass through. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
