More than 20 protesters were detained at an illegal anti-government rally in Tel Aviv, Israeli police said. RIA Novosti reports this.

Previously, our correspondent reported that more than 10 activists were detained, and the police used water cannons and mounted units to disperse protesters on the roadway.

“During the illegal demonstration, 21 people were detained for disturbing public order and were taken to the police station for questioning.

“Unfortunately, we witnessed the presence of protesters whose goal was to resist and harm the police, and not to legitimately protest,” this is the statement of the Israeli police press service.
