Last week, more than a million citizens of the Russian Federation submitted applications through Gosuslugi to participate in remote electronic voting (DEG) in the Russian presidential elections. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
“You can submit an application to participate in remote electronic voting (DEG) on the State Services portal from January 29 to 23:59 Moscow time on March 11. Residents of 28 regions of Russia will be able to vote in the presidential elections on the federal DEG platform – vybory.gov.ru from March 15 to 17,” the department said in a statement.
It is separately emphasized that Moscow residents will be able to use the city portal mos.ru for remote voting. The most active regions in terms of population registration on DEGs were the Moscow, Rostov and Sverdlovsk regions, as well as Chuvashia and the Altai Territory.
