Medvedev warned that the war with NATO will not go according to the SVO scenario

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that a war between Russia and NATO, if this happens, will not go according to the scenario of a military special operation.

In his Telegram channel, Medvedev wrote that the military potential of the North Atlantic Alliance and Moscow is incomparable. According to him, in the event of such a threat, Russia will be deprived of a choice.

At the same time, Medvedev pointed out that politicians in the West should be honest with voters and not treat them as “idiots.” He also emphasized that chatter about a possible military confrontation between NATO and the EU with Russia is extremely dangerous.

The politician emphasized that the Russian Federation will not follow the SVO scenario in this case. Medvedev again warned that, under appropriate circumstances, Moscow would be forced to use warheaded cruise missiles for defense.

“This is based on our doctrinal military documents and is well known to everyone. And this is the very notorious Apocalypse,” Medvedev wrote.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, on February 24, 2022, during his address to the people, announced the start of a military special operation in Ukraine.

Putin outlined the goals of the SVO to protect the residents of Donbass from the Kyiv regime, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of the Ukrainian state. At the same time, the president has repeatedly emphasized that NATO has come very close to Russia’s borders.

Earlier, Medvedev called NATO military a legitimate target if they were deployed in Ukraine. Read more about this in material PUBLIC NEWS SERVICE.
