Malkin’s pass helped Pittsburgh beat Detroit

The regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL), in which the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the Detroit Red Wings, has ended. The result of the game was the victory of the hosts with a score of 6:3.

The winning team scored goals from Reilly Smith, Sidney Crosby, Valtteri Puustinen, Michael Bunting, Lars Eller and Drew O’Connor. Russian Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin provided one assist. Lucas Raymond (a brace) and Christian Fischer scored goals for Detroit.

This victory allowed Pittsburgh to rise to 11th place in the NHL Eastern Conference standings, with the team having 69 points. Detroit has five points more and is eighth in the East. In the next round, Pittsburgh will play with New Jersey, and Detroit will play with Columbus.
