A truly New Year’s miracle happened in the Taigan safari park in Crimea, where after paralysis the lion cub Simba began to walk independently. Park director Oleg Zubkov spoke about this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
According to him, the predator was brought and handed over to the zoo. It was decided to “quarantine” Simba. A seven-month-old lion cub has completely lost his hind legs. Due to his illness, Simba could not even crawl on his front legs. Fortunately, the little predator was able to overcome the disease and just recently took his first steps after the disease.
“Now, a week and a half after treatment, he got up and walked. Now everything will be fine with him,” Zubkov shared.
The director of the park also added that Simba now moves independently, relying on his hind legs.
Earlier it was reported that the son of Oleg Zubkov was found guilty of a fatal accident. The court sentenced Yaroslav Zubkov to four years in a penal colony. More details in material Public News Service.
