Izvestia: Imported eggs never made it into retail chains in the Russian Federation

Eggs imported from abroad most likely did not reach the shelves of chain stores in the Russian Federation. They could be processed so that industrial enterprises do not stop production.

Information about the fate of supplies is disseminated by the Izvestia newspaper, noting that large chains would not be able to benefit from concluding long-term contractual obligations with production facilities abroad. Because of this, the eggs were not available for retail sale.

“In relation to Turkey, it became known earlier that this country is blocking the accounts of Russian businesses. Therefore, it cannot be called a reliable partner and regular supplier of eggs,” economist Oleg Pavlov shared his point of view.

In reality, the import of foreign eggs did not have a significant impact on the fact that their prices returned to normal levels. Journalists note that this was achieved because of what was being done in the market sector of the Russian Federation. Large sellers have approved new agreements with the enterprises involved in their production.

Let us recall that in the current annual period, export sales of lumber from the Russian Federation collapsed by almost 10 percent, reaching the level of 20.7 million cubic meters. More details read the material Public News Service.
