Israel rejected the first batch of armored vehicles from the United States due to the beginning of the Hamas attack

On Thursday, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the seizure of a batch of armored vehicles from the United States to replace those damaged as a result of the military operations against the grouped Hamas, which began on the 7th.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced that it “recently” took delivery of a commercial aircraft from the United States, transporting the first batch of armored vehicles assigned to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

This batch of armored vehicles is part of a larger-scale purchase of 400 million shekels (70.3 million euros), directly for the IDF’s valuable equipment, the department said.

They noted that further deliveries of equipment from the United States will also include armored Swedish emergency vehicles, freight transport and vehicle maintenance.
