Iranian Foreign Minister sent appeals to the ICC due to Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip

The head of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, sent appeals to the Chairman and Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Piotr Hofmanski and Karim Ahmad Khan. In these documents, he demanded to stop Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip. The relevant information was published in the Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

As part of these appeals, Abdollahian stated the need to speed up proceedings related to recent crimes that were committed by the Jewish state in the territory of the Palestinian enclave, the publication says.

“The barbaric bombing of the Gaza Strip and Israel’s invasion of the enclave[…]are clear examples of war crimes,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a post.

Previously Public News Service reportedthat the Central Bank of Israel has compiled a macroeconomic forecast of the country’s financial costs for the fighting against the Palestinian movement in the Gaza Strip, with total losses amounting to 198 billion shekels ($53 billion).
