Iran named conditions for intervention in the conflict between Hamas and Israel

Iran will intervene in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the event of an attack by Israeli forces on the country’s territory. This was reported by the Iranian Permanent Mission to the UN, write “RIA News”.

At the same time, how reported Al Jazeera TV channel, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry warned Tel Aviv of retaliation for the ground operation in Gaza. Abdollahian had previously also allowed for the opening of other fronts in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas escalated after militants attacked Israeli towns and took hostages on October 7. The Israel Defense Forces responded by announcing the start of Operation Iron Swords. According to the latest data, the total number of deaths on both sides exceeded 3,500 people.

In recent days, the Israeli army has been announcing a ground operation in Gaza. On October 14, it announced its readiness to launch a ground invasion of the Palestinian enclave, but after the media reported that the start of the operation was postponed.
