In Zlatoust, a disabled child has not been able to leave the house for three years due to narrow openings

A disabled child was “trapped” in a house in Zlatoust for three years due to narrow doorways that were incompatible with his wheelchair. This was announced by the head of the regional executive committee of the All-People’s Front (ONF), Denis Ryzhy, reports Ura.ru.

10-year-old Sasha was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, due to which he practically cannot feel his legs. However, the main problem is not the disease, but the fact that the doorways in his house are too narrow for a wheelchair to pass through. For three years now, local officials have been unable to solve this problem and provide the family with housing that meets the boy’s needs.

The child’s mother is forced to carry him in her arms around the apartment. In 2023, the authorities began searching for new housing for the boy, since the current apartment is considered unsuitable for a person with disabilities.

Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg the court gave up to 7 years to two men who kidnapped the girl. More about this – in the material Public News Service.
