In the Belgorod region, turnout on the first day of elections exceeded 67%

According to information published in the Telegram channel of the Belgorod region election commission, voter turnout at the presidential elections elections in the region based on the results of the first day of voting was 67.21%. The total number of polling stations where voting was organized for residents of the region was 1,267.

As of 20:00 on the first day of elections, 214,338 people voted early.

It should be noted that in the previous presidential elections Russia in 2018, voter turnout in the Belgorod region was higher and amounted to 73.24%. Then voting took place over one day.
