In St. Petersburg, a car slid into the Neva on the descent of Universitetskaya embankment. Information about the incident on Vasilyevsky Island was published in the “Road Accidents and Emergency” community on VKontakte.

The author of the publication, Alexander, told Fontanka that the incident happened late in the evening on January 31.

The publication’s interlocutor suggested that the car drove downhill, and when the driver tried to drive onto the road, it slid on the ice. Emergency Situations Ministry employees arrived at the scene of the incident.
