The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, shared information on the Telegram channel that two participants in street racing in the Russian capital were detained. In addition, two other participants in the race, who were detained earlier, will be subject to arrest for fifteen days.

“Another five reports have been drawn up against the 22-year-old driver, who has been cited for violations 28 times since the beginning of 2023. The 30-year-old reckless driver, who violated the rules 116 times during the same period, will be punished for seven more violations,” she said.

Earlier on Wednesday, January 31, a traffic accident occurred on the Perm-Ekaterinburg highway in which a Mercedes transporter collided with a Scania truck. As a result of the incident, one person was injured.
