IDF attacks Hezbollah targets in response to Israeli shelling from Lebanon

The Israeli military on Sunday, February 4, carried out a series of attacks on Hezbollah positions located in southern Lebanon. This follows from a statement by the press service of the Jewish State Defense Forces.

According to the IDF, these attacks were a response to attacks on the northern regions of Israel, which were carried out from Lebanese territory. In addition, the Israel Defense Forces reported that IDF fighters attacked a launch site operated by Hezbollah fighters, as well as observation posts in the areas of Mays al-Jabal and Blida. Israeli tanks also fired at enemy targets located in the Blida area.

Throughout the day, alarms warning the population of possible shelling sounded more than ten times in the northern part of the Jewish state. The sirens were heard by residents of Kiryat Shmona, Manara and Margaliot.
