The Hydrometeorological Center announced an “orange” level of weather danger in the Russian capital on February 12. Muscovites can expect freezing rain and heavy ice. This was stated in the forecast map on the website of the meteorological center, Tsargrad reports.

“The degree of intensity of hazardous phenomena: orange – the weather is dangerous,” say forecasters.

From nine in the morning until nine in the evening on February 12, residents of the Russian capital will experience freezing rain. It was also decided to introduce a “yellow” level of weather danger due to severe icy conditions on the roads. Motorists are urged to carefully monitor the situation on the roadway and adhere to traffic rules to avoid potential accidents.
