Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Ivan Kudryavtsev wrote 30 paintings on the theme of the Northern Military District, conveying the tragic nerve of our time. This was reported by the Crimea 24 TV channel.

The artist admitted that his first work was written after a meeting with the mother of a dead soldier. Kudryavtsev was told that some time after the funeral the soldier appeared in a dream to his colleagues.

“I started waking them all up in their sleep… They ran out of the building, and a couple of minutes later it flew into this building,” said the artist.

Kudryavtsev’s canvases depict portraits of heroes and landscapes. Many works depict the fate of the country’s defenders.

The collection will be supplemented with new works. Then the artist plans to travel with his paintings to the historical regions of the country.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that Roskomnadzor will check the series “The Boy’s Word” for compliance with traditional values. The series tells about Kazan in the late 1980s. More details in our material.
