Headquarters: Most attacks on Moscow’s online voting system came from the United States

Most of the attacks on the remote electronic voting system Moscow come from U.S.A And Great Britain. Vadim Kovalev, head of the Public Headquarters for Observing Elections in Moscow, told the TASS agency about this.

According to him, attacks continue to be recorded not for the first time; they use so-called botnet networks, which are conditionally located in Russia, but they can be bought from any country in the world.

“If we talk about DEG, this is not the first time we have recorded attacks on our system. <…> We see that most of the servers where the attacks come from, at least that’s how we detect them, are located in the USA and Great Britain,” Kovalev said.
