Gladkov reported the interception of eight drones in the Belgorod region per day
Over the past 24 hours, eight Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down and suppressed in the Belgorod region. About it reported Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
Six aircraft-type drones were destroyed in the Belgorod region: three air defense drones were intercepted over the village of Dragunskoye, one each over the villages of Pushkarnoye, Belomestnoye and Golovino.
Also, a drone was shot down near the village of Olkhovka in the Yakovlevsky urban district, and another copter-type drone was landed by electronic warfare in the village of Sereda in the Shebekinsky urban district. It subsequently detonated. Gladkov emphasized that in all cases there were no consequences on the ground.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped explosive devices from a quadcopter on the outskirts of the village of Tsapovka in the Borisov district and from a drone in the village of Kozinka in the Grayvoronsky urban district. In the same district, the village of Dronovka came under fire. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also struck the village of Staroselye in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district. A total of 18 shells were launched across the region. In all cases there was no destruction or casualties.
Earlier today, Gladkov reported that air defense shot down six drones in the Belgorod district and Yakovlevsky urban district. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage. Later he stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at Novaya Tavolzhanka. There were also no casualties, but the power supply line was damaged, as a result of which electricity was partially cut off in the villages of Novaya Tavolzhanka and Arkhangelskoye.
The Belgorod region, like other border regions, is regularly attacked by Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region. The region is also at an indefinite “yellow” (high) terrorism alert level.
